Electrical starter

Electrical starter facilitates starting. (An optional kick-start system is available for MX-style (GNC) races where lightweight is a priority.)

Handlebar

A Renthal FAT-BAR is standard equipment. Tapered, the Renthal bar offers both strength and lightweight. The handlebar mount, positioned high enough to use the Renthal bar, can easily accommodate other MX handlebars, enabling riders to select from among numerous after-market parts according to personal preference.

Ergonomics

The shape of the seat, tank and side covers were specifically designed not only to not hinder the rider's mobility as he moves around, but also to provide support when hanging off in corners. Even the feeling the rider gets coming into contact with these parts was carefully considered in their design.

Rear wheels

Specially designed rear wheels feature rims with reinforcing plates. Located on the inner (axle) side of the rims, these plates reinforce the rims where strength is most needed (for landing jumps, etc) while minimising weight.

Rear suspension

At the rear, suspension duties are borne by a cast aluminium swingarm with high torsional rigidity and a rear shock offering dual compression adjustability (highspeed and low-speed damping can be tuned separately) as well as rebound damping adjustability. Taking into account the chassis' low centre of gravity, rear suspension settings offer superb road.

Front suspension

The front suspension features shocks with dual-rate springs. Even when the machine is unloaded, the shocks are considerably compressed, which means that there is plenty of travel available for negative-G situations. The ability of the front wheels to stay in constant contact with ground means that even when the ground drops away suddenly, traction necessary.

Reverse gear

The compact reverse-lock release lever can be activated with the right thumb, allowing the reverse gear to be engaged while still keeping the front brake lever depressed. The 5-speed (1 down, 4 up) transmission locates the reverse gear below first. (Actuating the reverse-lock release lever when in 1st gear allows you to shift "down" into reverse.)

Exhaust

A lightweight high-performance titanium exhaust header pipe contributes to lowmid response.

Two-piece front

Two-piece construction of the front and rear lapped fenders means they can be replaced separately in the event they are damaged.
